Aircoach announces 65 new Daily Express Services to and from Dublin Airport

Aircoach, Ireland’s leading private bus and coach operator, is making it even easier for passengers to travel to and from Dublin Airport this summer with the announcement of 65 new additional services on its popular Dublin and Greystones routes, with new stops in key areas.

The additional journeys are being provided in response to customer demand and include new hourly services to and from Greystones on Route 702 with coaches now running every 15 minutes between Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre.

The new stops announced include Cherrywood Business Park – which now has a service every 30 minutes – and a pick-up at Pearse Station to Dublin Airport running every 30 minutes.

Merrion Square (route 701, every 30 mins), Loughlinstown Hospital (route 702, hourly), and Greystones, Hawkins Wood (route 702, hourly), are the other new stops on the expanded route network.

Welcoming the announcement, An Taoiseach, Simon Harris said: “Today marks a significant milestone and boost for holidaymakers and other regular users of Aircoach services looking to go to and from Dublin Airport. The expansion of the coach service will have a hugely positive impact on the community, especially in my home town of Greystones with a new hourly service on Hawkins Wood, one of four stops within Greystones.

“As Taoiseach I want to see further expansions like these, ensuring that everyone has access to sustainable, safe and reliable means of transport to and from their home community”.

Speaking about the expansion, Kim Swan, Managing Director of Aircoach, said: “These additional services are being provided after listening carefully to our customers. They told us they wanted more opportunities to travel to and from Dublin Airport in comfort this summer without having to squeeze the family and luggage into one vehicle, or securing and remembering a parking space.

“We’re delighted this new service expansion means more passengers can now enjoy a stress-free journey and the increased convenience provided by Aircoach with pick-ups and drop-offs right at the airport door. We’re committed to ensuring best-in-class connectivity for local people and visitors alike through the provision of more reliable and convenient public transport options. By adding these 65 new daily services and new stops, we are proud to reinforce our position as Ireland’s favourite coach operator.”

The additional services come as Aircoach is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a massive giveaway of 2,500 free passenger seats across the year. The company also recently announced an expansion of its direct services between Dublin Airport and City and Belfast City Centre. The additional journeys now mean Aircoach offers 32 daily direct services between Dublin and Belfast.

Key points along each of the updated Dublin and Greystones routes include:

700: Dublin Airport – City Centre – Donnybrook – UCD – Stillorgan – Sandyford – Leopardstown – Foxrock – Cabinteely – Cherrywood.

701: Dublin Airport – City Centre – Ballsbridge – RDS – St Vincent’s Hospital.

702: Dublin Airport – 3Arena – Booterstown – Monkstown – Dun Laoghaire – Dalkey – Bray – Greystones

As route configurations have changed, Aircoach is advising customers to check www.aircoach.ie for full route and timetable information and to book their tickets online or on the Aircoach app.
