Aer Lingus unveils transatlantic enhancements with new inflight benefits taking off

#Traveltradetogether

Customers in Business Class will enjoy new seasonal menu and refreshed amenity kits.

Aer Lingus elevates economy experience with additional onboard offerings and world class inflight entertainment.

Aer Lingus is elevating its transatlantic travel experience with exciting new onboard enhancements for all customers. Customers in Business Class can now enjoy a refreshed menu and elevated amenity kits. These upgrades are part of the airline’s ongoing commitment to enhancing customer experience and solidifying its status as a Skytrax 4-star airline, a distinction it has proudly held since 2016.

Business Class Dining Experience: Customers flying in Aer Lingus’ Business Class cabin will enjoy an elevated dining experience with the introduction of a new seasonal spring menu. On westbound flights, the new Business Class menu includes melt-in-the-mouth smoked salmon with crisp samphire in a citrusy dressing, and skin-on thyme and parsley chicken supreme. Dessert options include a light and fluffy lemon cream mousse dome or a local Irish cheeseboard. An exciting new light bite option of crispy Korean BBQ popcorn chicken on a salad of Asian black rice is also sure to delight customers.

New Amenity Kits: Aer Lingus’ new Business Class amenity kits include products from natural skincare brand Jo Browne Ireland, made using eco-friendly materials. The pen and toothbrush incorporate wheat straw, while the earplugs and dental kit pouches are made from plant-based and biodegradable materials. The kit also includes Jo Browne’s Signature Blend Lip Balm and Hydrating Moisturiser, all packaged in 100% sugarcane tubes. A premium 3D-molded eye mask and luxurious socks are included in the kit to ensure a restful journey.

Onboard Enhancements: Customers flying in Aer Lingus’ economy cabin will also enjoy complimentary meals and snacks on transatlantic flights, including a choice of Vinca organic red or white wine, beer, soft drink or juice with their meal. Aer Lingus is one of the world’s leading airlines for onboard entertainment, with over 1,300 pieces of content for customers to choose from. There’s endless hours of games, new release movies, and TV box sets. Disney+ favourites like Loki (Season 1), The Mandalorian (Season 1), and Ms. Marvel are also available on seatback screens.

Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus Chief Customer Officer, said: “At Aer Lingus, we are dedicated to providing the most comfortable experience for our customers as they fly across the Atlantic. Our exceptional inflight offering includes complimentary food and drink, and customers are welcome to enjoy an extensive selection of inflight entertainment options. Those flying in our Business Class cabin will experience added comfort and space while onboard with us.

As a Skytrax 4-star airline, Aer Lingus is continuously investing in enhancements to our inflight offering. By listening to valued feedback from our customers, we’ve introduced new additions that we know will elevate their journeys.”

In 2025, Aer Lingus will fly to two new destinations – Indianapolis and Nashville – using its new Airbus A321 XLR aircraft, bringing the number of transatlantic routes operated by the airline from Dublin, Shannon and Manchester to 24. As always, customers flying from Ireland to the United States with Aer Lingus can enjoy US preclearance in Dublin and Shannon airports.
