Aer Lingus launches first Avios-Only flights, offering even more value for AerClub members

Aer Lingus announces its first Avios-Only flights from Dublin to Tenerife return for Easter 2025.

To celebrate this exciting launch, Aer Lingus is offering return fares for just 10,000 Avios + taxes, fees and carrier charges for a limited time only.

These Avios-Only flights are exclusively available to AerClub and British Airways Executive Club members using Avios (the reward currency of both loyalty programmes) as a form of payment.

Aer Lingus has launched its first Avios-Only flights, on which all seats will be exclusively available as reward seats. The first Avios-Only flight will be from Dublin to sunny Tenerife (EI764) on 19th April 2025, with a return flight (EI763) on 26th April 2025.

To celebrate the launch, reward fares on these Avios-Only flights to holiday hotspot Tenerife are available for 50% less Avios for a limited time only. This means members can bag a reward seat for just 10,000 Avios + taxes, fees and carrier charges until 11.59pm on 2nd September.* Members booking after that date can still avail of a reward seat for just 20,000 Avios + taxes, fees and carrier charges.

This AerClub initiative delivers exceptional value to members, who can also avail of a range of Cash + Avios options if they don’t have enough Avios to cover the total cost. Avios is a reward currency that can be collected by AerClub members on purchases of flights, hotels, car hire, or by simply shopping with hundreds of retail partners through the AerClub eStore.

Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, offers delightful spring sunshine and a wide range of activities and attractions, including whale watching and water sports. The island is one of the most popular destinations for holidaymakers in April and the timing of these Avios-Only flights, at Easter, makes it particularly attractive for families.
