Eight lucky Irish agents win their way to Eurovision with Royal Caribbean International

Royal Caribbean International has revealed the winners of its travel agent competition, ‘Book Your Way to Eurovision’, including eight travel agents from Ireland who will be heading off to Malmö, Sweden to watch the Eurovision Song Contest in May. The full prize includes flights, a hosted two-night stay, dining and a VIP hospitality ticket to watch one of the four most coveted live Eurovision events.

‘Book Your Way to Eurovision’ saw agents across Europe compete to win one of 34 prizes through the Royal Caribbean’s innovative learning and rewards platform, Club Royal. Agents made their way up the leaderboard by booking and claiming a 2024 or 2025 Royal Caribbean International holiday to earn all-important points.

The Eight Irish Agents Who Made it to the Top of the Leaderboard Include:

  • David Kinsella, eTravel
  • Annette Hynes, Fahy Travel Worldchoice
  • Elaine Truesdale, Cruise Beyond
  • Kim Lunt, eTravel
  • Laura Hewitt, Thompson Travel International
  • Michelle Clarke, John Cassidy Travel
  • Katarina Trnikova, J Barter Travel

“Congratulations to these eight fantastic agents from Ireland who will join us at the world’s largest live music event, the Eurovision Song Contest,” said Jennifer Callister, Head of Sales, Ireland, Royal Caribbean International. “As an Official Partner for 2024 and 2025, this competition is just one of the ways Royal Caribbean will bring the partnership to life, alongside a wide range of moments and experiences, including brand exposure throughout the event, host-city promotion and more.”

Annette Hynes at Fahy Travel Worldchoice said: “Having grown up watching Eurovision, it was one of the highlights of the year seeing so many people getting together from Europe and the World, and to now going to see it live – WOW. Hopefully, another win for Ireland would which make it our 8th. Thank you, Royal Caribbean.”
