Destination Cork as The Taste of America Roadshow lands in the Imperial Hotel

#Travelbizconnect #TasteofAmerica2024 #aerlingus#Traveltradetogether #Shannonairport

Sponsored by Shannon Airport and Brand USA, Taste of America trade partners arrived in the Imperial Hotel in Cork for the final leg of the Aer Lingus Taste of America roadshow.

It has been an amazing four days travelling Nationwide with the Taste of America trade partners delivering destination and route updates to retail and wholesale members of the trade, and where better to conclude what has been a highly successful series, than a full house of really enthusiastic agents from the always sunny south east.

Our USA Taste of America Partners provided amazing prizes on the night.

Our big Winner in Cork was Aoife from Barters Travelnet.ie in Cork who won two return flights to New York with Aer Lingus form our Sponsors Shannon Airport.

Retail and wholesale partners also checked in and departed Cork with an array of prizes from our USA Partners including:

Universal Orlando – goody bag

Visit Orlando- A place on their upcoming fam trip to Orlando Florida.

Miami – Sunshine Goody bag

Great Lakes – Goody hamper.

Destination New England – Goody bag.

California- Californian Goody Bag.

Brand USA – A €50 BT voucher

Illinois- Illinois Goody Bag.

Philadelphia- We Love Philadelphia and Countryside of Philadelphia bag

Denver – A very special Denver Backpack.

NYS – A much sought after New York State Goody Bag.

Declan Power and Isabel Harrison (Shannon Airport) were our main sponsors for both taste of America shows in Limerick and Cork.

Declan addressed members of the trade highlighting the pre-clearance and state-of-the-art security clearance at Shannon airport with no need for passengers to remove liquids and electronic items from hand luggage, coupled with a one check in and pre – clearance process with little or no queues experienced even at peak times. Declan also highlighted the advantage of parking on site at Shannon airport enabling passengers to walk to departures and arrivals.

Passengers can connect to all USA cities from Shannon with direct services with Aer Lingus to New York and Boston along with United Airlines direct flights to Chicago and Newark providing excellent connections to all major cities in North America and beyond.

A huge shout of thanks to all of our partners from: Boston (BOS), Destination New England (Connecticut and New Hampshire) (BOS/BDL/NYC) New York State (and Dutchess County) (NYC), Philadelphia & the Countryside of Philadelphia (PHL), Cleveland (CLE), Denver/Colorado (DEN), Great Lakes USA (ORD, CLE, MSP), Bloomington (& Mall of America) (MSP), Miami (MIA), Central Florida (MCO), Kissimmee (MCO), Orlando (MCO), Orlando and Universal Orlando (MCO), Brand USA.
