Iconic start to 2024 for Royal Caribbean in Ireland

Coming off the back of a fantastic 2023 Royal Caribbean’s team of Jennifer Callister, Michelle Ryan and John Booty would firstly like to thank the trade for their incredible support in 2023 and the amazing start to 2024 coinciding with the launch of icon of the Seas and a record-breaking biggest volume of bookings ever in one week and record-breaking level of bookings recorded in one single day for Royal Caribbean.

“2024 could not have got off to a better start for Royal with the launch of our largest cruise ship in the world, Icon of the Seas in Miami where we hosted trade media and travel trade partners who witnessed what was an amazing spectacle as Icon took to the seas to join our Royal fleet of the 28 Royal Caribbean vessels worldwide”, said Jennifer.

“With 21 vessels servicing the Caribbean and seven in Europe Royal has an additional 2 groundbreaking vessels to launch which will include Utopia of the Seas and Star of the Seas, launching in 2024 and 2025 respectively”.

“One of many success stories for Royal Caribbean with the trade in Ireland is our Royal Caribbean exclusive charter flights to Barcelona with British Airways operating out of Belfast City airport. Operating between the 5th of May to the 26th of October 2024, the direct flights with BA connect with Oasis of the Seas in Barcelona providing your clients with the luxury of a 20 KG hold luggage and 10 KG bag and cabbage allowance to join up with the amazing Oasis of the seas. Saling out of Barcelona, Oasis will explore the western Mediterranean on A7 night cruise calling at Palma, Rome, Naples and beautiful Marseille”.

Jennifer also stressed the importance of the trade to book as soon as possible as the flights filled incredibly quickly last year and already there are flights showing almost full for 2024.

“Royal Caribbean also wants to take the opportunity in 2024 to entertain you in Europe with our amazing book your way to Eurovision with Royal Caribbean incentive where you can win an all singing all dancing VIP trip to Malmo with Royal Caribbean.

.“We’re so pleased to offer agents from Ireland the chance to join us as this iconic event. At Royal Caribbean, we’re always looking for ways to drum up excitement with our travel partners and we’re confident this competition will do just that”.

Those who miss out on the top spot need not worry as Royal Caribbean is hosting the best Eurovision party outside of Sweden. The store that books and claims the most Royal Caribbean 2024/25 bookings for each region will win their own Eurovision night out hosted by their Sales Development Manager (SDM). Including champagne, decorations and a £500/€500 budget to splash out at a venue near them. For agents across the 7 regions across the UK and Ireland, their SDM will be in touch soon with further details.
