Visit Connecticut Lunch with Travelbiz

Jacinta from Travelbiz was delighted to join Tony Lane (Visit Connecticut) at an intimate lunch in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel on January 25th.

As a precursor to an exciting weekend of all things HOLIDAY and TRAVEL, the delicious lunch in the Saddle Room with the enthusiastic team from Visit Connecticut, hosted by Sue Henrique (Connecticut Tourism) was the perfect start to networking, have great conversation and get the message out there that visits to gorgeous Connecticut should be on our hit list of trips for 2024. The State is unparalleled in the US for beautiful landscapes, iconic cities, pretty towns, quirky villages and super shopping. It’s amazing to think that Connecticut is midway between New York and Boston, so the opportunity to experience NY State in the west while the east is pure New England is definitely a double delight.

Connecticut has an incredible food scene, world class culture, Native American culture (housing North America’s largest museum) and simply some of the most picturesque scenery imaginable! Accessibility (or should I say connectivity!) is not a problem with Aer Lingus daily flights to Bradley Int. Airport in Hartford, so six and a half hours from Dublin, connect with Connecticut! The lovely Sue from Mystic was poetic in her praise for Connecticut and Tony Sheridan (President & CEO of Chamber ETC), together with Jenny Rafter (Aer Lingus) reinforced the super connection from Dublin into Bradley Airport. By all accounts, Bradley is a dream connection as the airport is small and intimate and offers really easy access for travellers. I can vouch for CT as I’ve had the privilege to visit Connecticut before and absolutely hope to experience that super State soon again. You’re very welcome to join me. You won’t be disappointed!
