Anita Thomas (Country Manger Emirates) acknowledges incredible trade support and team Emirates at Trade Appreciation dinner in the Westbury Kildare Suite

Don Shearer (MD Travelbiz and Travelfinders) was a guest of Emirates in Ireland for a very special night with trade partners and the Emirates trade support team in Ireland.

Anita Thomas, Emirates’ Country Manager for Ireland was joined by recently appointed Sales Manager for Ireland Fillippo Rocchi and her amazing Sales Support team for the trade which includes, Olwyn Mc Glynn (Sales Support), Erika Mansfield (Sales Support), Sara-Jane Walsh ((Sales Support), Lofti Temini (Sales Support) and Jennied Guzman. Lisa Rabbitte (Account Manager) was sorely missed but was acknowledged on the night along with trade partners and the amazing Emirates trade support team.

The chemistry of support and appreciation was palpable from team Emirates when invited trade partners arrived in the Kildare Suite in Dublin’s Westbury Hotel last night. The level of genuine engagement and appreciation by all team members with the entire Emirates team was evidence of the incredible service and support that Anita, Fillippo and the entire team deliver to the trade day after day. Anita made specific reference to the unique relationship that Emirates have built with their retail, corporate, wholesale and online partners resulting in a record-breaking year in 2023 for Emirates and already record breaking start to 2024 both in revenue and load factor.

Anita offered a warm welcome to her guests extending huge gratitude to trade partners for their support, Anita paid tribute to her tight team of seven and introduced them with individual praise and remarks on their respective talents, hard work and can-do attitude. Anita went on to say how proud she was of how her team gelled and how they were dedicated and committed and happy to help in every way possible. Invited guests and trade agreed!

Clare Dunne (CEO ITAA) acknowledged the support of Anita and the Emirates trade support team, on behalf of ITAA members and staff and wished Anita and the team continued success in 2024 and beyond.

It was a great night, and I must make special reference to the Westbury Hotel for the level of service, food and wine on the night. It was certainly one of the best I have experienced in recent times. The main fillet, tornado steak was the best I have had by far for years.

What a great way to move into week three of 2024 celebrating a local management success story with people who certainly know how to make a difference.
