JetBlue where every person is connected – EPIC

#Traveltradetogether

Don Shearer (Travelbiz) joined the JetBlue Team for an Epic evening of trade connectivity in Dublin’s Ivy Garden Hotel with trade and media partners. Maja Gedover (General Manager for Europe JetBlue), Caitriona Toner (Senior Sales Manager), Francis Mc Cabe (Sales Support Coordinator) and Matt Baker (Pricing Manager) hosted a great night and introduced the trade to the unique, personal, low fare and great value brand that is JetBlue. The guys all loved the all new Travelbiz 2024 Diary.

Maja Gedover, General Manager for Europe at JetBlue, welcomed our trade and media partners, introducing the JetBlue team composed of Caitriona Toner (Senior Sales Manager), Francis Mc Cabe (Sales Support Coordinator), and Matt Baker (Pricing Manager).

Maja expressed, “As a youth carrier, we have come a long way. For a significant period, we operated solely as a domestic US carrier serving Latin America and the Caribbean. Embracing education and growth, we acknowledge the need for considerable work in pricing and productivity. Our commitment to collaboration with the trade is unwavering, and we are here to support you and your teams. Our small, dedicated team is a strength that enables us to make things happen.”

She continued, “Caitriona and Francis in Ireland will be your primary contacts, ready to support you and answer any questions as we approach our inaugural flights from Ireland to Boston and New York on March 14, 2024. We are excited to establish a close connection with you and this market, anticipating fruitful collaborations.”

Inviting everyone to a celebration on March 14th at the Epic, Maja emphasized, “This event marks the arrival of our first Dublin flight from both New York and Boston. Your presence will make the celebration even more special.”

Maja highlighted JetBlue’s unique in-air experience, stating, “On board, our crew for transatlantic flights undergo a rigorous selection process, ensuring a dedicated and familiar team. Flying narrow-body Airbus neo 21 aircraft on these routes enhances the personal touch, allowing time for conversation and exceptional service. We take pride in our in-flight food, sourced from fantastic New York signature restaurants, emphasizing quality and personal service in both core and business cabins.”

Reflecting on her four years at JetBlue, Maja concluded, “Our journey has been transformative, dispelling initial perceptions of us as a new low-cost transatlantic carrier. We are low fare and high value, offering more to our customers than any other airline in the Atlantic market. Our commitment to innovation and collaboration with the travel trade continues to define our success.”
