Travel trade treated to luxury LA FAM

#Traveltradetogether

Los Angeles Tourism and Delta Air Lines hosted a luxury FAM trip to Los Angeles last week to showcase luxury experiences in the City of Angels. Celebrating the Hollywood Sign’s 100th anniversary, which takes place on 8 December, the group got to take in views of the iconic landmark both on a private hike with Bikes & Hikes and from Orbic Air’s Ultimate Helicopter Tour.

The FAM trip showcased luxury Los Angeles away from the traditional celebrity enclaves, highlighting the glamour of the new Conrad Los Angeles hotel in Downtown LA and hotspot dining at TAO in Hollywood. Other highlights included a vineyard tour with Malibu Wine Hikes and a FantaSea Yachts boat cruise from Marina del Rey, followed by spa treatments at the nearby Ritz-Carlton. The FAM finished with a visit to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and some of Downtown LA’s hotspots, with dinner at trending venue Level 8 and Six Taste’s foodie walking tour.

Francine Sheridan, Regional Vice President, Europe and Middle East at Los Angeles Tourism, said: “In partnership with Delta Air Lines, this FAM trip showcased how clients can have a first-class experience from the moment they reach the airport, continuing all the way through their Los Angeles stay. LA and luxury go hand in hand, and there is always a way to elevate an experience and create bespoke ways to wow your clients in the City of Angels.”

Nadia Clinton, Regional Sales Manager UK & Ireland at Delta Air Lines said: “With our daily nonstop service connecting the two iconic cities of London to Los Angeles, Delta delivers an exceptional experience from check-in to landing, offering a class of service that suits our customers’ needs. Ease, convenience and service is at the heart of what we do.”
