Universal Destinations & Experiences Celebrate Halloween Horror Nights

#Traveltradetogether

Jacinta from Travelbiz was scared witless at The Devlin, Stella Cinema in Ranelagh last night as our genial hosts, Kevin Gibson (Director of Marketing, PR & Communications Universal Parks & Resorts), Matt Skeels (PR Executive, Universal Destinations & Experiences) and Lora Sauls (Assistant Director of Creative Development & Show Direction for Art & Design Entertainment, Universal Orlando Resort) introduce us to the upcoming Halloween Horror Nights. Commencing on September 1st and lasting 40 days (and fright nights!), there is a frightening array of events, haunted houses, and ghoulish experiences in store for the hapless visitor.

Universal Parks & Resorts has been re-branded as Universal Destinations & Experiences to better reflect the full gamut of innovative offerings Universal continues to bring fans. The new name also signifies how the company is diversifying by bringing Universal branded entertainment, culinary, gaming and consumer product experiences to life. These new platforms will be represented in both the physical and virtual worlds.

In addition to the extension of Halloween Horror Nights, new original concepts include Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood; Donkey Kong Country expansion at Universal Studios Japan; Minionland coming to Universal Orlando later this summer and Epic Universe opening at Universal Orlando in 2025.

For fans of blood, guts, gore, hanging body parts and menacing assassins, give your heart a jolt, set your nerves jangling and scream at the top of your lungs – these experiences are not for the faint hearted. Choose from heartstopping themes like Dr Oddfellow’s Collection of Horror, Jungle of Doom Expedition Horror, Shipyard 32: horrors unhinged, Vamp ’69 Summer of Blood, Dark Zodiac, Yeti Campground Kill, The Exorcist Believer, Duelling Dragons or The Last of Us.

Kevin, Matt and Lora treated us royally and we enjoyed creepy canapes and killer cocktails. The Stella Cinema venue is a private 44 seater delight with deep plush chairs and comfy armrests. Laden with popcorn and cans of soda, we thoroughly enjoyed ending up as nervous wrecks when the real Phantom of the Opera raced through the aisles! It was indeed a stellar occasion. Mantra of the night – NEVER GO ALONE……………..
