From Accountancy Firm to Travel Professional

#Traveltradetogether

Meet Eleanor Roche from Waterford, who left the world of Chartered Accounting at one of the “Big Five” firms to set up her own business through the Travel Counsellors Academy Programme. Following her passion for all things travel, particularly spending many holidays on board cruise ships, Eleanor used her contacts from her old life to establish herself as a concierge travel expert, specialising in all things cruise, and her business has gone from strength to strength.

A mum of two young children, Eleanor has the flexibility and adaptability to work around her busy life while having the back up from her Travel Counsellor colleagues and the head office teams in Cork and Manchester.

Eleanor shares her own story here where she chats to us with her partner Paul. He was a little hesitant when Eleanor started looking at the Travel Counsellors model, but he can now see the positive impact it has had on their lives and their earnings.

The Academy programme is extensive and provided by experts in a hybrid way, with home modules and time spent in the Cork Office for face-to-face training.
