Travelbiz distributes a weekly E-zine and Daily News bulletin to the trade in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, as well as other travel companies located elsewhere. The E-zine is distributed to staff in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland as well as to some companies in the UK, Europe, USA and worldwide. It is distributed to: Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Ferry/Cruise, Airlines, Car Rental, Tourist Boards and other travel industry companies in Ireland and a limited distribution to travel industry companies abroad.
Travelbiz respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. We collect and use information through our web site and trade E-zines in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Travelbiz collects information on E-zine usage for internal purposes only. We do not employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier.
Banner advertising appearing on our web site and ezine may direct to a third party who may collect information.

Travelbiz maintains the accuracy of our information by monitoring and updating our database. The Travelbiz Directory Diary is distributed FREE to all travel staff in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and elsewhere in return for First name, Last name, Company name and email address. These details are used to maintain the accuracy of the databases. to distribute the ezines and Daily News bulletins.
We collect personal information as follows:
- From you directly when you subscribe using our website or our ezines.
- From your company in connection with providing a free Travelbiz Directory Diary for you.
- Photos taken by our reporters at travel trade business and social events.
Note: All our ezines contain an unsubscribe link.
6. What do we use your personal data for?
We use your personal data, including some but not all of the personal data listed in section 5 above, for the following purposes:
- Send the Travelbiz Trade E-zine and Daily News to your email on a regular basis.
- Send Travelbiz specific travel company E-zines on behalf of suppliers to your email.
- Photos used on our Social Media (Facebook & Twitter) which may include a generic caption or a caption with your name and company.
We never share your personal details with any third parties, your details are used as per section 3 above.

For as long as we send you any of our E-zines.

Personal details held by Travelbiz are stored offline as well as on Campaign Monitor who distribute ezines on our behalf. Campaign Monitor has a dedicated security team and their security policies are aligned with ISO 27001 standard.
