Irish Travel Trade Shows a Triumph

#Traveltradetogether

The Irish travel trade turned out in great numbers to support the Irish Travel Trade shows in both Cork and Dublin supporting our valued global trade partners. Organised by Maureen Ledwith, Maria Hourican and the amazing Business Exhibitions team in conjunction with the ITAA, it was so good to see so many of our partners from home and abroad interacting and doing business with members of the Irish Travel Trade on a grand scale.

Generously sponsored by the Spanish Tourist Office in Dublin headed up by Sr Ruben Lopez and his wonderful team, the exhibitors were certainly kept busy with huge interest from the trade. Great prizes were also on offer from Nebo Tours (4 nights in amazing Jordan with flights courtesy of Turkish Airlines), Catalyuna (return flights to Barcelona with Vueling), Brittany Ferries (ferry crossing to Spain), VIK Hotels (7 night stay on half board basis), Domes Resorts & Reserves (3 night stay in any Domes Resorts), Royal Caribbean International (goodie bags) and many more offering super goodie bags, beauty bags and hampers.

The Trade Shows were extremely well represented with all the main players in situ. A super meal with legendary Rioja wines was served after the show. Pat Dawson (ITAA CEO, sadly soon to be retired) was present as were several ex Presidents, Con Horgan and Martin Skelly, and of course, Paul Hackett, our present and very active President. The show was superbly organised, as always, by Maureen and Edmund, Maria and Shane and the beavering backroom lady herself, Paulette Moran. Jean and Lorraine kept the show on the road for the ITAA. Congratulations to all concerned. It was a job well done.
