Irish Industry Shines

#Traveltradetogether

Holiday World Dublin opened its doors to the trade and public last weekend and our Industry celebrated in style at the Irish Travel Industry awards. Last week’s activity at Holiday world and the reconnection, celebration and support achieved at the Irish Travel Industry Awards confirms that we are all back on track and 2023 looks like it’s going to be a record breaking year for all in our sector. The level of business and general activity presents its own challenges for sure with recruitment being one of our single biggest issues. I have no doubt we will see a new pool of talent filtering though all segments of the industry, but this will take time and investment by all concerned. We prove time and time again that we are a resilient and resourceful industry and this is another challenge that we will overcome for sure. I would like to congratulate all Holiday World Exhibitors who travelled from Shannon to Belfast and Dublin over the past number of weeks supporting our industry and all the winners, nominees, and guests at our Irish Travel Industry Awards. The light is bright, and the future is brighter as you all sparkled at the awards. You are all winners and I congratulate you on behalf of all the Travelbiz and Travelfinders team. This is to our Hero who will never be forgotten, and we will always hold a light towards, Robbie Smart.
