Our amazing Barbados Fam continued with a hosted breakfast at the ‘Colony Club by Marriot, our home for the past two days, The Colony Club is situated in the Parish of St James on the West side of the Island. One of the most glamourous addresses on the West Coast, the Colony Club is the grand dame in Elegant Hotels’ portfolio with a beautiful stretch of beach, perfect for snorkelling and that early morning dip to one of the Pontoons to take in the glorious Barbados sunshine, smells and sounds.

Our day was action filled with an Island Safari which is one of the most loved and unforgettable excursions in Barbados, followed by an absolute must for lunch the Open Kitchen. A very chic and popular concept bistro with an emphasis on local and organic produce, gourmet coffee and pizza, The Open Kitchen is a great place to pencil in for great food, wine and entertainment.

We rounded off our day with a visit to the all-new O2 Beach Club and Spa on the Island’s lively South Coast. With its brand-new west wing, opened in early 2022, the O2 Beach Club and Spa, has been elevated to being a truly 5-star, all-inclusive experience on Barbados’ South Coast. With five food and beverage options, including Oro, with commanding views of the Caribbean Sea from the 9th floor, the luxury resort leaves guests spoilt for choice. Jackie, Niki and the team treated our group to fine wines, cocktails and a glorious dinner with a very special Barbados sunset as our backdrop.
