Air Canada/Do Something Different/MSC Cruises/Universal Orlando Resort VIP fam – Days 3 & 4

The group enjoyed another VIP experience at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, followed by a visit to Loews Portofino Bay Hotel including drinks in the square, modelled on the original Portofino. The girls in the group got into the spirit with a dance in the square to “Ciao Bella” sung by live singers from a balcony.

The day ended with a fabulous dinner at the Hard Rock Hotel – featuring their legendary dessert ‘The Kitchen Sink’. Even Graham Hennessy couldn’t manage the whole dessert but Eleanor McElroy made a decent effort!

Day 4 kicked off with a transfer from Orlando to Port Canaveral. Check in was seamless and the group were all on board within 40 minutes. MSC Seashore, one of the Seaside Evo Class Ships is a beautiful Ship and the largest in its class.

The Ship’s design pays tribute to New York City, featuring a 3 metre replica of the  Statue of Liberty in the casino and a Times Square Shopping area. The group availed of all of the extra benefits of Aurea class, including Thermal suite access, extra dining options and in cabin amenities.  The day was spent discovering the ship, its numerous bars, restaurants and entertainment venues as it set sail.

Next port of call Ocean Cay in the Bahamas.
