Riviera Travel Boosts Agent Fam Programme For 2026 with First-Ever Dedicated Ireland Trips

Riviera Travel is reinforcing its commitment to the Irish travel trade as plans take shape for an expanded agent FAM programme in 2026, including three dedicated FAM trips exclusively for Irish agents – the first time the operator has run Ireland-specific trips.

Following a busy 2025 programme, Riviera is set to deliver 15 FAM trips for UK and Ireland throughout 2026, welcoming 152 UK & Irish agents onto a wide range of itineraries designed to support confident selling across its growing product portfolio. Of these, 3 FAM trips will be specifically for Irish agents, underlining Riviera’s support for the Irish market.

Rhine River Cruise

The programme reflects the breadth of Riviera Travel’s product offering, spanning short and longer itineraries, festive departures and discovery cruises plus two dedicated touring FAMs and a bespoke long-haul tour taking place this month.

This latest activity builds on strong engagement earlier in the year, with more than 550 travel agents given the opportunity to experience the MS Geoffrey Chaucer in March alone. By the end of 2026, close to 700 travel agents across the UK & Ireland will have experienced Riviera Travel’s product first-hand, underlining the operator’s long-term commitment to meaningful trade partnerships and product knowledge.

Riviera Travel Malta Uncovered Escorted Tour

To ensure agents can access these experiences in a commercially visible way, Riviera Travel continues to offer up to 30% discount for agents, enabling partners to experience the product they sell while building destination and itinerary knowledge that directly supports conversion.

Riviera Travel continues to invest in accessible training and support for agents through Riv Explorer, its dedicated learning hub for the trade. Agents can complete product modules, watch on-demand webinars and access essential tools and assets.

The extensive 2026 FAM programme forms part of Riviera Travel’s wider trade-first strategy, focused on long-term partnerships and meaningful engagement. By offering a broad mix of itineraries and formats, and for the first time, FAM trips created specifically for Ireland, Riviera aims to meet the needs of agents.

Riviera Travel Carrie Day

Carrie Day, Country Account Manager Ireland, comments:

“Introducing our first-ever FAM trips dedicated specifically to Irish agents is a really important step for us. The programme is designed to give agents first-hand experience of the breadth of Riviera’s offering, so they can sell with real confidence. We’re ensuring agents have the knowledge, insights and assurance they need when recommending Riviera to their customers.”
