Florida’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Celebrates Humanity’s Journey Beyond Earth with Kennedy Under the Stars: Yuri’s Night Edition
Tickets are now on sale for Kennedy Under the Stars: Yuri’s Night Edition’, an exclusive after-hours event taking place on 3 April 2026*, from 6pm – 10pm, at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. .
Celebrating the power of space to bring the world together, Yuri’s Night is a series of parties around the world, which take place every year on and around the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin becoming the first human in space (12 April 1961) and the launch of the first Space Shuttle (12 April 1981). Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will host the official East Coast of America flagship celebration with a special edition of its popular Kennedy Under the Stars event, which gives guests the chance to experience the attractions after hours, meet astronauts, hear from special VIP guests in the space industry, and have some fun on the dance floor.

Blending the spirit of the 1960s with today’s space-age energy, the event will feature a live DJ spinning classic hits. Guests can enjoy signature entertainment, glow elements illuminating NASA Central, stilt walkers and Cosmic Glow Mini Golf beneath the towering Saturn 1B rocket in the Rocket Garden.
The special Yuri’s Night Edition will include keynote speakers and dynamic panel discussions as part of the main stage programming in the IMAX® theater at 7pm and 8pm. Special Yuri’s Night presenters include Loretta Whitesides, Co-founder of Yuri’s Night; Dr. Sian Proctor, Commercial astronaut Inspiration 4; Frank White, Author of The Overview Effect; Cady Coleman, Veteran NASA astronaut; and Dylan Taylor, Founder of Voyager Technologies.

“Our guests love experiencing the visitor complex in a completely different light and, in this case, after dark,” said Howard Schwartz, interim chief operating officer of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. “Yuri’s Night Edition brings together the nostalgia of the early space race and the excitement of today’s exploration milestones for a one-of-a-kind celebration.”
During the event, many of the visitor complex’s signature attractions will remain open, including Heroes & Legends, Featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame; Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex®; Journey To Mars with themed space trivia; and Space Shuttle Atlantis® with Shuttle Launch Experience®. The HYPERDECK virtual reality experience, located next to IMAX, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the Space Shop will remain open for guests looking to add NASA-inspired merchandise to their collection.
Guests are encouraged to wear their favourite space-themed attire; however, masks or face coverings that conceal the face are not permitted for security reasons.

Located just 45 minutes’ driver from Orlando, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex opens daily at 9am, with closing times varying by season. Single-day admission is US$77 per adult, US$67 per child. A two-day ticket is available for US$91 per adult and US$81 per child.
