Blue Insurance announces launch of New Real Time Delay Feature

We’re excited to announce the launch of Real Time Travel Delay, a brand‑new enhancement that will now be automatically included as standard within all our Premier Plus travel insurance policies.

This upgrade is designed to give your customers faster, smarter, and more seamless support when their travel plans don’t go as expected.

Real Time Travel Delay uses live travel data to detect qualifying delays as they happen. Once a customer registers their flight in advance, any delay of three hours or more will trigger an automatic benefit: a VIP airport lounge pass or a €30 cash payout if lounge access is not available at the airport in question, delivered in real-time without the need to submit a claim or provide proof of delay.

This means:

  •             No paperwork
  •             No waiting
  •             Immediate support when it’s needed most

As a Travel Agent/Broker, you can now offer your clients:

  •             A more responsive and modern travel insurance experience
  •             Added value at no extra cost
  •             A smoother customer journey from booking to return

There is no action required on your part. The Real Time Travel Delay benefit will already be included in all Premier Plus policies, as standard, issued from the Today/Tomorrow.

If you’d like further details on how Real Time Travel Delay works, you can call us on 01 485 4122 or email me jeanette.taylor@blueinsurance.ie .

We truly appreciate your ongoing support, and please be assured that we remain committed to delivering innovative solutions that bring even greater peace of mind to your customers.

Together we’ll continue enhancing protection, service and value every step of the way.
