New for Summer 2026: MSC Cruises Launches Fresh Eastern Med Itineraries

MSC Lirica and MSC Divina to offer exciting new summer 2026 itineraries in the Eastern Mediterranean to destinations like the Greek Isles, Turkey, Italy and Montenegro.

MSC Lirica will offer 7-night sailings from Venice-Marghera (Italy) to iconic destinations including Kotor (Montenegro) Mykonos and Syros (Greece) and Ancona (Italy).

MSC Divina will depart from Civitavecchia for Rome to the spectacular destinations of Mykonos (Greece), Kusadasi and Marmaris (Turkey) and Naples (Italy).

Setting the stage for an incredible summer, MSC Cruises’ new itineraries aboard MSC Lirica and MSC Divina will offer guests the chance to explore some of the most captivating destinations in the Eastern Mediterranean – and it’s not too late to book.

Both ships will offer seven-night sailings, designed to showcase the iconic region’s beauty with itineraries that span the breathtaking Greek Isles to historic cities in Turkey, Montenegro’s Adriatic gems, and Italy’s highly sought-after destinations – offering travellers the perfect mix of city exploration, relaxing beaches, rich culture, delicious cuisine and world-famous historical sites.

Venice, Italy

The itineraries include calls at exciting new and up-coming destinations Marmaris, Turkey renowned for its stunning coastline and historic harbour, and Syros, Greece, celebrated for its charming blend of neoclassical architecture and vibrant local culture.

From 4 April 2026, MSC Lirica will offer itineraries from Venice-Marghera (Italy) to the Eastern Mediterranean’s most hidden gems, from picturesque Kotor (Montenegro) to the serene shores of Syros (Greece) and the coastal charm of Ancona (Italy). Guests will also enjoy an overnight stay in Mykonos (Greece), offering the chance to experience the island’s famous sunsets and vibrant nightlife.

Civitavecchia for Rome

Commencing 24 April 2026, MSC Divina departs the West Mediterranean from Civitavecchia (Rome), visiting the East Mediterranean’s most spectacular destinations including the charming resort destination of Mykonos (Greece) to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ephesus from Kusadasi (Turkey), the mesmerising turquoise bays of Marmaris (Turkey) and Naples (Italy), the gateway to the legendary Pompeii. Guests wishing to experience these sailings in additional comfort and privacy can opt for suites in the MSC Yacht Club – the line’s luxury ‘ship within a ship’ experience, with keycard-only access to private facilities, 24-hour butler and concierge service, an exclusive restaurant, lounge, pool and sundeck.

Destination highlights of the itineraries include:

  • NEW! Marmaris, Turkey: One of the most popular resort towns on Turkey’s “Turquoise Coast”, Marmaris offers an intoxicating mixture of traditional Turkish hospitality with modern conveniences and attractions. Sandy beaches, bustling nightlife and plenty of shopping and dining opportunities make this one of the region’s hidden gems.
  • NEW! Syros, Greece: Ahidden gem destination, Syros is an authentic Greek island experience in the Cyclades. The island features authentic, laid-back experiences making it the perfect holiday destination to relax and unwind. Guests won’t want to miss the grand capital of Ermoupolis, with its grand hall and imposing architecture as well as the medieval settlement and stunning views of Ano Syros.
  • Myknos, Greece: One of the most iconic of the Greek islands, Mykonos offers both a serene paradise and a vibrant nightlife scene. Renowned for its picturesque, whitewashed villages, famous windmills, prized Souvlaki and seafood dishes, stunning beaches and some of the most spectacular sunsets in the region, this captivating destination offers something for everyone.
  • Kusadasi, Turkey: Located on Turkey’s western coast, Kusadasi serves primarily as a resort town and the gateway to the historic ruins at Ephesus, a former ancient city built in the 10th century BC that is still being excavated to this day. Whether it’s visitingthe ancient ruins of Ephesus, approximately 45 minutes away, savouring Turkish Delight, or soaking up the sun on the beach, this destination offers an abundance of experiences to enjoy.
  • Naples, Italy: The third-largest city in Italy, Naples is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world. Famed for its pizza and nearby ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, its historic city center is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Kotor, Montenegro: A fortified town on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast, Kotor is a dramatic, historic and altogether welcoming port of call. Its medieval old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, gorgeous scenery, mouth-watering seafood, and authentic bars and restaurants make this a guest favourite.
  • Ancona, Italy: The capital of Italy’s picturesque Marche region is a bustling city overlooking the glittering Adriatic Sea, filled with historical landmarks, lively harbours and beautiful beaches. One of the city’s main attractions is the Ancona Cathedral, completed in 1189, is one of the city’s main attractions. Thanks to its unique location, it is possible to watch sunrise and sunset over the ocean in Ancona.
  • Venice, Italy: A floating city on water like no other place in the world. Here, guests can explore Venice’s enchanting canals, marvel at captivating architecture, take in the beauty of St Mark’s Square or stop to snap a picture of the iconic Bridge of Sighs.
  • Civitavecchia for Rome, Italy: From the coastal town of Civitavecchia, guests may venture to nearby Rome for a captivating journey through history in one of the most sought-after cities in the world. This romantic and lively capital has something for every type of traveller including world-famous historical landmarks, exquisite Italian cuisine, excellent markets and museums. Guests will get the chance to visit some of the city’s most iconic sites including the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain.
