Travel Counsellors Ireland part of global rollout of AI-powered digital assistant

Travel Counsellors Ireland, the premium leisure and corporate travel specialists, is part of the new global roll-out of TC Co-Pilot, a powerful AI assistant designed to enhance productivity and deliver highly personalised customer experiences.

Developed entirely in-house over the past 18 months, TC Co-Pilot is a standalone interface that seamlessly integrates through Travel Counsellors’ proprietary platform, Phenix. Following a successful trial involving over 120 Travel Counsellors, it is now being rolled out to the global community of more than 2,200 business owners, including more than 80 Travel Counsellors operating in Ireland. Throughout the trial, TC Co-Pilot has continuously evolved, with improvements shaped by business needs and direct user feedback.

TC Co-Pilot stands apart from generic AI tools by offering a completely new product experience with specialised support on using Phenix, powered by the company’s own knowledge base, while also assisting with key business tasks such as building itineraries, researching hotels, creating marketing materials and planning social media content. Beyond operational efficiency, TC Co-Pilot adds a personal touch to the customer experience with features like tailored packing lists, local restaurant recommendations and personalised welcome letters, freeing up time for Travel Counsellors to focus on building client relationships.

Cathy Burke, Managing Director of Travel Counsellors Ireland, said: “The introduction of TC Co-Pilot marks another exciting step for our Travel Counsellors here in Ireland. It combines the latest technology with the human touch that defines how we do business. By helping our people work more efficiently and creatively, it allows them to spend more time caring for their clients and creating unforgettable travel experiences. It’s another example of how Travel Counsellors continues to be one of the best places to work in travel in Ireland.”

Jon Bauer, Chief Technology Officer at Travel Counsellors, added: “We’re delighted to roll out TC Co-Pilot to our global community. The launch of TC Co-Pilot represents a major step forward in how we use AI to support our Travel Counsellors. Rather than replacing human expertise, it enhances it, giving our community the tools to work smarter and deliver even more meaningful, personalised service. This technology is designed to free up time, spark creativity and strengthen the relationships that sit at the heart of every exceptional travel experience. It’s a reflection of our commitment to innovation that is developed by our community, for our community.”

The launch is the start of an ongoing journey of development, with future updates set to include expanded itinerary options, enhanced performance insights and new creative tools to support the production of compelling marketing content, including reels.

TC Co-Pilot forms part of Travel Counsellors’ wider annual investment in technology, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation that deepens client relationships and builds lasting loyalty.
