Visit Qatar to Lead a Delegation of 48 Partners at World Travel Market London 2025

Visit Qatar is set to showcase the best of Qatar’s thriving tourism offering at World Travel Market (WTM) 2025, taking place from 4-6 November 2025 at ExCeL London. Leading a high-profile delegation of 48 partners – including hotels, resorts and destination management companies – Visit Qatar will present the country’s dynamic and expanding tourism ecosystem on one of the world’s largest stages for the global travel and tourism industry.

Through its presence at WTM, the delegation aims to strengthen international partnerships, highlight the country’s growing appeal as a world-class destination, and attract new business and investment opportunities aligned with the country’s national tourism strategy.

The dedicated Qatar Pavilion (Stand S8-210) will feature a striking two-level design covering 700 sqm with an additional 150 sqm mezzanine, offering engaging spaces for networking and business meetings. The stand will immerse visitors in Qatar’s rich culture and modern experiences through a series of creative activations and interactive showcases.

Highlights include a dedicated cultural zone featuring live demonstrations of calligraphy, Arabic Kohl and perfume making, offering visitors an authentic glimpse into Qatari traditions and craftsmanship. Guests will also enjoy a taste of Qatari hospitality through the Qinwan coffee and dates experience. To further enhance visitor engagement, a special 4D immersive activation will bring Meryal Waterpark to life through multi-sensory visual, audio and water effects, providing an exhilarating preview of one of Qatar’s newest attractions. In addition, a dedicated Qatar Calendar showcase will offer insights into the country’s upcoming events, festivals and cultural celebrations throughout the year.

Qatar continues to position itself as a global hub for tourism, events and sport. Building on the legacy of the FIFA World Cup 2022, Qatar’s official bid to host the 2036 Olympics underscores its long-term commitment to international sporting excellence. The country’s growing calendar of major events, including the debut of UFC Fight Night in Qatar, Formula 1, the Qatar T100 in 2025, FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 and FIVA Volleyball World Cup 2029, highlights its ability to deliver world-class experiences on a global stage. Beyond its borders, Visit Qatar is the primary sponsor of the Qatar Goodwood Festival in the UK, reflecting the nation’s commitment to global sporting engagement and cultural exchange.

Beyond sports, Qatar is rapidly expanding its tourism offerings with new luxury accommodations, attractions and destinations. The recently opened Rosewood Doha (July 2025) and Our Habitas Ras Abrouq (2024) offer world-class stays, while Meryal Waterpark, one of the largest in the region, is a new family favourite. New destinations like Gewan Island and Al Maha Island provide visitors with vibrant retail, leisure and cultural experiences. All of these developments align with the Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to establish the country as a world-leading destination and one of the fastest-growing in the Middle East. Whether visiting on a multi-day stopover with Qatar Airways or for a week, Qatar offers something for every type of traveller whether interested in global sports, luxury relaxation, family entertainment or cultural immersion.

WTM London 2025 continues to be one of the travel industry’s most significant global gatherings, connecting professionals from across the world. This year’s event is expected to welcome over 45,000 travel industry professionals, thought leaders and global tourism board representatives.

Through its participation, Visit Qatar reaffirms its commitment to positioning Qatar as a leading global destination, promoting its diverse attractions, exceptional hospitality and vibrant cultural identity to international audiences.
