Stena Line Celebrates 30 years of its Dublin-Holyhead Route

Stena Line marked 30 years of its Dublin–Holyhead route with a special celebration at Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin. The event brought together key figures from business, tourism, and transport to reflect on three decades of one of the most important Irish Sea connections.

Niclas Mårtensson, CEO Stena Line Group, H.E. Lina van der Weyden, Ambassador of Sweden to Ireland and Johan Edelman, Trade Director, Stena Line Irish Sea South, at a special celebration event marking 30 years of Stena Line’s Dublin to Holyhead route.

It was a truly memorable evening, set in one of Dublin’s most iconic venues, celebrating not just Stena Line’s milestone but also the vital role this route has played in strengthening links between Ireland and Wales over the past three decades.

The event took place on Wednesday, October 1, in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin and included the screening of a specially commissioned film marking three decades of Stena Line in Ireland.
