Shannon Bear Lands at Shannon Airport to Support Children’s Charities

There’s a heartwarming new arrival at Shannon Airport! Meet Shannon Bear – a limited-edition, cuddly companion who’s here for a very special cause. Every Shannon Bear sold will help raise vital funds for The Shannon Airport Group’s 2025 charity partners: Clare Crusaders and Little Blue Heroes.

These two incredible organisations work tirelessly to support children with additional needs and families of children undergoing long-term medical care. By picking up a Shannon Bear, you’re not just taking home a cute souvenir – you’re helping to make a real difference in the lives of local children and their families.

Talking about the launch of the Shannon Bear initiative Vanessa McTigue, Chair of The Shannon Airport Group Charity Committee, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Shannon Bear to the airport today. He’s our first ever bespoke teddy, and what makes him truly special is that all proceeds from his sales will go directly to Clare Crusaders and Little Blue Heroes. These charities are doing extraordinary work in our communities, and we’re proud to stand beside them.
