The Sky is the Limit: Aer Lingus opens recruitment for cabin crew roles

Aer Lingus today announces the launch of its latest Cabin Crew recruitment campaign, offering a limited number of fixed-term opportunities at its Dublin base. Successful candidates will join Ireland’s only 4-star airline, as rated by Skytrax, and operate flights across its extensive network of European and North American destinations.

New recruits will complete a paid six-week training programme at the Aer Lingus Training Academy in Dublin, covering safety procedures, customer experience, first aid, and aviation regulations. Upon completion, candidates will earn a European EASA Attestation – a globally recognised qualification for Cabin Crew – and full first aid certification.

Cabin Crew play a vital role in ensuring customer safety and delivering exceptional service. The role suits individuals who are professional, empathetic, and team-oriented, with the flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.

Newly qualified Cabin Crew will operate on Aer Lingus’ Airbus fleet, including the state-of-the-art A321 XLR aircraft. Covering the airline’s growing network, Aer Lingus Cabin Crew fly to popular European destinations such as Rome, Paris, Amsterdam, London, and Faro, as well as routes in North America including New York, Boston, Nashville, Indianapolis and Las Vegas.

In addition to a competitive remuneration package, successful applicants will enjoy staff travel concessions from day one and ongoing training and development. Many Aer Lingus Cabin Crew members progress throughout their careers to roles within Crew Operations such as Senior Cabin Crew Member, Cabin Service Manager, Safety/SEP Instructor, Service Instructor, and Operations Crew Manager.

Anne Kiely, Aer Lingus Chief People Officer, said: “Our Cabin Crew are at the centre of the Aer Lingus brand and play a vital role in delivering customer safety and exceptional service. As our Dublin base grows, we’re looking for people who bring energy, empathy, and a natural drive to deliver outstanding customer experiences as part of a high-performing team.”

Applicants must be 18 or over, eligible to live and work in Ireland, fluent in English, hold a valid EEA passport, be able to obtain a US visa, and have at least 12 months’ experience in customer service or sales.

Applications close at 5:00 PM on Friday, 5 September 2025. Apply now via Nobox.
