Ballygally Castle Raises a Glass to 400 Years with Launch of Exclusive Anniversary Beer

#Traveltradetogether

As part of its landmark 400th anniversary celebrations, Antrim’s Ballygally Castle has unveiled a limited-edition Ballygally Castle Beer, brewed in partnership with Whitewater Brewery, one of Northern Ireland’s leading craft beer producers.

This exclusive beer pays homage to the castle’s rich heritage and the flavours of County Antrim, blending tradition and innovation to give guests a truly unique beverage.

It comes as the hotel experienced one of the busiest years on record, with food and beverage up 15% per cent year-on-year driven by record visitor numbers, innovative dining experiences, and strong community support during its anniversary .

The addition of a bespoke beer adds to a vibrant calendar of festivities, which has already featured a community sea swim and BBQ, a Murder Mystery evening, and a series of themed accommodation packages.

“The launch of the Ballygally Castle Beer is a toast to our heritage, our guests and the local community that has supported us through the centuries,” said Scott Weatherup, General Manager of Ballygally Castle which is part of the Hastings Hotels Group.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Whitewater Brewery who share our values of quality, craft and championing local – and it has already been a huge hit with our guests.”

“Our 400th year is not only a celebration of the past, but also of the present and future of Ballygally Castle. Our bookings remain strong, with our food and beverage up 15 per cent in recent months”.

“The remainder of 2025 is also looking very positive and we’re looking forward to continuing the celebrations to mark this historic milestone, and raising a glass of our anniversary beer with guests”.
