It’s the perfect Platinum service retrofit for Declan on Emirates B777

#Traveltradetogether

Anita Thomas (Emirates Country Manager-Ireland) was the proud host of a very special function held in the Platinum Services Lounge at Dublin Airport to showcase the nose to tail refurbishment of the Emirates Boeing 777 aircraft which services the Dublin-Dubai route.

It is part of a $5billion investment in upgrading the fleet and by the end of next year there will be 4 million premium economy seats on sale. The airline announced that from December both aircraft on its double daily service between Dublin and Dubai will feature the upgraded cabins. The scaling up of the premium economy offering strengthens Emirates competitive proposition to travellers and makes a strategic differentiation by offering them more choice as they increasingly seek premium travel experiences.

The exclusive event was attended by representatives from the travel industry and media together with suppliers of Irish products served on board as well as other VIP guests . Declan Mescall (Features Editor) flew the flag for Travelbiz. Following a welcome reception in the Platinum Lounge there was a tour of the stylish new cabin interiors of the aircraft , including Emirates new signature Premium Economy and next generation Business Class seats. ✈

The aircraft now boasts four cabin categories economy, premium economy, business class and first class. Particular emphasis was placed on showcasing the new premium economy cabin, which is separate from the other cabins and accommodates 24 passengers. The refreshed business class cabin now offers a 1-2-1 seating arrangement with every seat having aisle access compared with the previous 2-3-2 layout. ✈
