Etihad Business Class is a real Touch of Class

#Traveltradetogether

My recent flights with Etihad en route to TTM + 2025 (Thai Travel Market Plus 2025) were excellent and certainly lived upto the Etihad promise of “experiencing the art of travel redefined.”

I was lucky enough to enjoy an upgrade to Etihad Business Class which meant not only fabulous service, but amazing care and attention. On the outward legs, it was reassuring to know that my baggage would be delivered all the way to Bangkok, so I had no worries about waiting at a carousel in Abu Dhabi to drag my (rather large!) bag to another check-in. It was all smooth and carefree. The Boeing 777-300 offered not only great leg room, but flat beds, complete with adequate blanketing and pillows. I was only short of a wee teddy to cuddle!

On board, the service was second to none with my Air Stewardess, Petronella, attending to my every need. Always smiling and nothing appearing to be any trouble, I was looked after superbly. Delicious food (I can highly recommend the mezze plate) accompanied by a wide wine selection shortened the flight duration. A choice on on-board entertainment whiled away the hours too. A private screen, earphones and remote is akin to having a cinema experience.

On the return legs from Phuket to Abu Dhabi and onwards to Dublin, service was no less efficient and friendly. Breakfast was served at my leisure and, had I wished to rest, this presented no problem to the ever-accommodating on-board staff.

Flights in both directions were punctual. This is a very important feature for clients who are transiting and it’s vital to have that reassurance when you’re slightly worried about an onward connection. No such worries here with Etihad. It was smooth passage all the way.
