The Summer Season Brings a Series of Authentic Experiences, Historic Celebrations and Bundled Savings.
This summer, travellers to Florida are invited to Discover Something Real at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, where the original stories, legendary artifacts and immersive experiences offer an authentic journey into the past, present, and future of space exploration.
Between June and August 2025, visitors will experience a season of stellar savings, exciting events and extraordinary encounters – all while exploring the original universe.
4th July Family Fun Weekend
3 – 6 July 2025
Brits will soon discover that an integral part of a Fourth of July celebration is playing games with all the family! All holiday weekend long, from Thursday 3 – Sunday 6 July, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will host several outdoor activities. Guests can take a swing at mini golf, aim for the win in corn hole and play for four-in-a-row. All activities will take place rain or shine and are included with admission.
Astronauts & Cosmonauts
17 July 2025
It’s been 50 years since American astronauts shook hands with cosmonauts in space during the Apollo – Soyuz Test Project. Guests can hear from Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex’s resident space expert as he walks them through the American – Soviet rivalry in space; how different nations performed spaceflights and how enemies had to work on trusting each other in space. Sessions will take place in the Journey to Mars exhibit at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
Moon Fest/Vintage Chic Days
18 – 20 July 2025
Guests are invited to come and celebrate the 56th anniversary of Apollo 11’s landing on the moon and step back in time in their finest vintage threads! Apollo 11 launched on 16 July, landed on the moon on 20 July, and splashed back down to earth on 24 July 1969. Guests will be able to learn about the historic Apollo Missions, as well as the upcoming Artemis Missions and NASA’s plans to return to the moon. Weekend activities will include:
- Vintage photo ops
- Activities in Atlantis: colouring sheets, crafting tin foil hats and making Orion splashdown capsule
- Performances by The Vocalitas – a period acapella group performing daily
- Laugh along with Astro and Orbit, space duo comedy performers
- Photo ops with the Lunar Rover – all day long
- Apollo to Artemis presentations
- An Apollo 11 short film
Moon Fest 2025 offers seasoned space enthusiasts and curious explorers alike the chance to be part of an historic celebration and learn about humanity’s ongoing journey to the stars.
Discovery Day STS-114 Return to Space
26 July 2025
20 years ago, on 26 July 2005, Space Shuttle Discovery launched from Kennedy Space Center with seven astronauts, the first Shuttle flight since the tragic loss of Columbia. To commemorate the Shuttle programme’s return to space, visitors can hear firsthand accounts from astronauts Mike Mullane, Bruce Melnick, William “Bill” Shepherd and Tony Antonelli, who flew aboard Space Shuttle Discovery.
Aviation Weekend
1 – 3 August 2025
Visitors can celebrate the remarkable journeys of astronauts and pilots during Aviation Weekend. Pilots and astronauts from different backgrounds will share their stories of reaching the skies and how they embarked on their paths during a Tales from the Flight Deck panel discussion, which also gives guests the opportunity to ask questions and have a post-panel photo with their aviation heroes.
In the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, guests can visit the Atlantis Aviation Center to meet with engineers, designers, and pilots as well as craft an aeroplane and test whose flies the farthest. A photo booth will allow visitors to take their very own pilot photo. There will also be party tunes comimg from a solar-powered DJ kiosk in front of Space Shuttle Atlantis from 12 – 4pm, all weekend long. A games area including mini golf and four-in-a-row will also be set up nearby. All activities are included with admission.
Kennedy Under the Stars
30 August 2025
Kennedy Under the Stars will return on 30 August 2025. The exclusive after-hours party will be held from 6.30pm – 10pm, offering a glow-in-the-dark celebration with an inter-galactic party vibe. Guests will marvel at the park after dark, with illuminated attractions, video DJ, techno dance party, Cosmic Glow Mini Golf, and more. This August, visitor complex will be turning back the clock 25 years for some Y2K nostalgia! Highlights of the event will include:
- Glow-in-the-Dark Retro Fun: Guests can dance the night away at NASA Central’s techno glow party, enjoy early 2000s hits at Gateway, or party in the Rocket Garden where there will be dance-offs and cosmic prizes
- Stellar Costume Contest*: From aliens to astronauts, costumes are encouraged!
- Cosmic Glow Mini Golf: Visitors can grab a putter and enter a glowing miniature world in the Rocket Garden
- Astronaut Meet-and-Greets: Veteran NASA astronauts Ellen Ochoa and Mike Foreman will be at Kennedy Under the Stars to share their real stories from space
- Starry Night Learning: Experts from Florida Tech’s Ortega Observatory team will be there with their telescopes to teach guests about the night sky
- STEAM cart: The STEAM team will be running fun experiments for hands-on learning
- Live Performers: Colourful street performers will be entertaining guests throughout the park
- Special themed food and drinks: Including a specialty cocktail for adults
Many of the main attractions at the visitor complex will stay open late, allowing more time to venture to other worlds in Spaceport KSC®, get up close to actual flight-flown artifacts like Space Shuttle Atlantis, feel the rumble aboard the Shuttle Launch Experience® and more.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the night, and selected retail stores will remain open as well so guests can add to their collection of NASA “merch”.
*Interplanetary, space themed outfits are encouraged, but for security reasons, costume masks that conceal faces are prohibited, as are any props that resemble weapons.
Tickets for Kennedy Under the Stars are US$65, plus tax and parking is included. This ticket is valid for event entry only. This event does not include the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour or Apollo/Saturn V Center.

From now until 17 August, guests can enjoy a delicious “Admission + Meal Voucher” deal, receiving $10 off regular, one-day adult or child admission with the purchase of a $20 meal voucher, redeemable at the onsite Orbit Cafe and Moonrock Cafe. Available for pre-purchase online or through the call center, all tickets must be redeemed on or before 14 December 2025.
At Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, less than 1hr from Orlando, guests can go beyond their imagination and discover something real. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex opens daily at 9am, with closing times varying by season. Single-day admission is US$75 per adult, US$65 per child. A two-day ticket is available for US$89 per adult and US$79 per child.
