Visit Huntington Beach Appoints Luna PR & Representation

#Traveltradetogether

Visit Huntington Beach (VHB), the official Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for Huntington Beach, California, has appointed Luna PR & Representation to provide public relations services in the UK & Ireland.

With immediate effect, Luna PR & Representation will work with VHB to deliver multi-channel public relations campaigns to raise awareness of Surf City USA® and increase overnight stays in Huntington Beach hotels and lodging properties. The agency will serve as VHB’s UK & Ireland public relations office and will amplify Huntington Beach’s destination appeal and existing travel trade efforts through media relations, PR campaigns, media missions, press trips, and influencer and brand partnerships.

Clara Tsang, Vice President, Public Relations & Communications at Visit Huntington Beach: “We are delighted to appoint Luna PR & Marketing as our public relations agency for the United Kingdom and Ireland, as we re-engage with media audiences following a pause during the COVID-19 pandemic. Luna’s creativity, action-forward thinking and demonstrated success in delivering impactful results were key factors in our decision. This collaboration marks an important step forward at a time of both challenge and opportunity, as we navigate an evolving global landscape and prepare to welcome international visitors to Southern California in anticipation of the LA28 Olympic Games and other significant global events. We look forward to a successful and productive partnership.”

Jo Piani, Managing Director of Luna PR & Representation, said: “We are thrilled that Visit Huntington Beach has joined the Luna family. Huntington Beach is the ultimate California Dream and we will focus on elevating Huntington Beach’s position as Surf City USA, a picture-perfect, bright-coloured, vibrant beach escape. We also look forward to promoting family-friendly travel, the laid back luxury experiences and the abundance of outdoors adventures just waiting to be experienced by travellers from the UK & Ireland.”

Luna PR & Representation’s PR Director, Jo White, will work alongside Jo Piani, heading up the account. Jo White is a travel communications expert, with over 20 years experience in promoting North American destinations.
