MSC Virtuosa Dirty Dancing in Concert

#Traveltradetogether

MSC Cruises introducing “Dirty Dancing: In Concert,” two brand-new Carousel Productions circus shows and more on MSC Virtuosa this summer.

New main theatre and Carousel Lounge shows added to the already impressive lineup of entertainment this season.

New kids and family entertainment options including new programmes developed in partnership with the LEGO Group.

MSC Virtuosa is set to be the hottest entertainment destination this summer, with new concepts added to its already impressive lineup – all while sailing to breathtaking destinations like the Norwegian Fjords, the Northern Pearls cities, the Canary Islands, and the Atlantic coast of Europe from the ship’s homeport in Southampton, UK.

The headline act to the new lineup is “Dirty Dancing: In Concert” – a live-to-film concert experience that takes the beloved Lionsgate film to another level, combining a live band, sensational singers, and talented dancers, bringing the screening of the iconic movie to life.

Debuting on 10 July 2025, just in time for the summer holidays, MSC Virtuosa will be the only place to see the live-to-film concert at sea in the region and will join MSC Cruises’ recently announced introduction of the live-to-film concert in the Caribbean aboard MSC World America.

Guests will have multiple chances to enjoy “Dirty Dancing: In Concert” during each sailing, including a matinee on sea days. The 90-minute live-to-film concert features a full band, talented singers and dancers performing in sync with the iconic movie. The experience culminates in a high-energy finale, where guests will be invited to join the celebration and sing along at a “Dirty Dancing: In Concert”-themed afterparty that will keep the excitement going long into the night.

In addition to “Dirty Dancing: In Concert,” guests can expect two captivating shows in the main theatre: “Songbook Abba,” featuring the greatest hits of the global phenomenon ABBA, brought to life by an incredible theater cast, and “Starwalker,” highlighting the classic music of the legendary Michael Jackson with iconic songs and unforgettable dance moves performed by a talented cast.

Antonio Paradiso, VP of International Sales at MSC Cruises commented: “I am delighted to be able to offer enhanced entertainment on board the UK’s favourite cruise ship, MSC Virtuosa. We are seeing more UK customers than ever choose MSC Cruises as their holiday choice and I attribute this to our exceptional onboard offering, including excellent dining, a large range of leisure activities and of course, top class entertainment. We want our guests to feel at home on board MSC Virtuosa and I know Dirty Dancing in Concert will be a popular choice for anyone travelling with us.”

Steve Leatham, Vice President of Entertainment at MSC Cruises, said: “Providing an impressive array of spectacular entertainment options for every type of guest around the clock is key to creating an unforgettable cruise experience. MSC Virtuosa is an incredible platform for pushing the boundaries of entertainment at sea. We’re thrilled to introduce brand-new daytime and evening headline events that will leave our guests in awe. We’re particularly excited about the premiere of “Dirty Dancing: In Concert”, “Hall of Fame” and our newest Carousel Productions Cirque shows, which will both debut this summer in the Theatre.”
