ANA Wins Air Transport World’s 2025 Airline of the Year Award

#Traveltradetogether

ANA was honoured by Air Transport World with its 2025 Airline of the Year Award, recognized for its superior performance, innovation and service.

This is the fourth time ANA has received the Airline of the Year Award, the most among Asian airlines.

All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest and 5-Star airline for 12 consecutive years, was named “2025 Airline of the Year” by Air Transport World (ATW) at the 51st Annual Airline Industry Achievement Awards. This is the fourth time ANA has received this prestigious award, following 2007, 2013, and 2018, the most among Asian airlines, further solidifying its position as a global leader in aviation excellence.

Established in 1974, the ATW Airline Industry Achievement Awards represent the pinnacle of achievement in the air transport sector. The awards, widely acknowledged as the most coveted honor an airline can receive, recognize individuals and organizations that excel in performance, innovation and service. The “2025 Airline of the Year Award,” which ANA received this year, is the highest of these awards and recognizes an airline that has provided outstanding performance and advanced services.

“We are delighted to receive the Airline of the Year award” ANA’s President and CEO Shinichi Inoue said. “This award is proof that ANA’s safety, high hospitality, efforts to enhance the value of customer experience, expansion of the global network, and the daily efforts of our employees have been recognized.

ANA remains dedicated to shaping the future of air travel by continuing to exceed the expectations of our customers.”

ATW Editor-in-Chief Karen Walker said, “ANA is highly deserving of this recognition. The ATW Airline of the Year Award is reserved for only the best-of-the-best in the global airline industry. As a multi-winner of the Award, ANA and its Team have proved once again how they stay on top of operational and financial excellence, superb customer service, innovative thinking and dedication to safety, sustainability and community. Congratulations ANA!”

ANA enhances the value of the entire experience by focusing not only on the direct contact with the customer, but also by considering the “from before and after the flight” as a single journey. In addition, ANA has further expanded its network with the Milan, Stockholm, and Istanbul routes launched since last December.

Through continuous efforts in safety and customer experience, ANA will continue to strive for sustainable growth as the world’s leading airline.
