Happy Christmas from CLIA!

#Cliaireland #Travelbizhub #Travelbizconnect #AMAWaterways #MSC #Uniworld #Silverseas #NCL #APTTravelmarvel #Avalon CLIA Europe

Adele Fitzpatrick Foster (CLIA Ireland) says Happy Christmas to a very select gathering in Dublin’s Green Hen Restaurant on December 3rd. Jacinta from Travelbiz attends the CLIA Ireland winter dinner 2024 with cruise line and travel representatives and enjoys immense good cheer and the usual excellent hospitality with Adele (Head of Events CLIA).

Reflecting on the past year, Adele invites cruise partners to describe their respective products. Clare Dunne (CEO ITAA) welcomes participants and guests whilst Suzanne Rowe led proceedings, waxing lyrical about MSC newest ‘baby’, World America. Phil from Avalon says he had his eye on Ireland for many years and is now delighted to launch here, with Alan Sparling (ASM) recommending and supporting all the way. Amanda from Silverseas is thrilled to announce that Ireland is blowing the UK out of the market with strong sales and her new Silver Nova and Silver Ray ships are simply outstanding.

Katrina Latimer from AmaWaterways advises that the company is family owned with 29 ships and we’re told to look out for Ama Magna and the idea that land excursions will extend from river cruises. Brian Hynes from Uniworld needed little introduction for his beloved product, tempting us with a high end, exclusive model with standards of excellence rarely seen. With a different demographic, Uniworld’s amazing itineraries include far flung Peru and India.

Aaron Fletcher from NCL is happy to report that sales are superb and NCL looks to the future with huge positivity. Michelle Ryan appointed first Ireland Country Manager (APT Travel Marvel) is excited to bring her experience of ocean sailing to the river – where she was born and reared. This should prove to be a winner.

Adele reports the backing from the Irish Travel Trade is now second to none as cruising has grown exponentially over the last few years, overtaking the popular package sun holiday by a nautical mile. Performance on the high seas and a floating “footing” on Europe’s and the world’s great rivers, cruising offers a singularly superb mode of travel and travel choices to cater to every budget. For even the most committed landlubber, you can’t but be tempted by these stunning cruising options.

We’re sailing into the festive season and beyond armed with great knowledge of cruising, amazing choices, fantastic itineraries, gourmet food and all-inclusive drinks packages and expert staff here in Ireland to set you off on the correct cruise to suit your tastes.

Heave Ho, me hearties. Ahoy there. Happy Christmas from CLIA and good luck to all who sail in her!
