Riviera thank Irish Travel Trade and update partners on new products and new team members.

The Riviera Travel team of Steven Taylor, Catherine Johnson (PR & Events Manager), Vicky Billing (Head of Trade and Marketing) and Amanda Docherty (Homeworkers Key Account Manager) sailed into the Conrad Hotel to host members of the travel trade and travel media including Declan Mescall (Features Editor)Travelbiz.
The event had three main purposes, firstly to thank everyone for their support in 2024 when bookings from the Irish trade grew by 50% over the previous year, secondly to promote their 2026 product launch – their largest ever river cruise programme with 133 sailings on 13 river ships taking in traditional destination favourites such as the Rhone, Seine, Rhine, Danube and Douro, and finally to introduce the Riviera Travel team including newcomers Steven Taylor (International Sales Manager) and Ralf Uhlemann as business development manager for Ireland.
Riviera Travel has revealed it will introduce a new river cruise ship to the fleet in April 2026. The 178-guest Riviera Resplendence will be a sister ship to Riviera Radiance, which launches next year. Riviera Resplendence will feature three dining options, a spa and wellness area, pool, bistro with an open kitchen and a boutique gift shop.
