New Frankfurt Service from Cork Airport

Lufthansa is to commence a twice-weekly Cork-Frankfurt service from 25 June 2021. Lufthansa (operated by Lufthansa CityLine) will operate a Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft with 75 seats on board – 15 Business Class and 60 Economy Class – offering two flights per week on Monday and Friday. The inbound flight will depart Frankfurt Airport at 15.40 local time, arriving at Cork Airport at 16.45. The outbound flight will depart Cork at 17.25 landing in Frankfurt at 20.30 local time, a flight time of two hours and five minutes. Lufthansa is the only airline offering a direct service between Cork and Frankfurt.

Lufthansa keeps Dublin connected to Frankfurt and Munich

With a double daily service to Frankfurt (FRA) and a daily flight to Munich (MUC)*, Lufthansa connects Dublin to its two German hubs and beyond, thanks to a strong network that reaches Asia, Africa, South and North America.

* Up to three daily flights to FRA and two daily flights to MUC from July 2021.

New onboard delights

Lufthansa has introduced “Onboard Delights”, a new food and beverage offer. On flights longer than 60 minutes, passengers flying in Economy Class can choose from new, affordable and more sustainable food and drink offer. A complimentary bottle of water and a chocolate surprise will still be offered to all passengers.

Online document check

Together with the Lufthansa Group airlines and IATA, Lufthansa strives to digitalise and standardise document checks based on the corona regulation of the destination. The aim is to give all passengers an opportunity to present the necessary documents in electronic form before departure. Learn more here.

Please note that participation in the digital check of the entry documents is voluntary, and passengers can still have their documents checked manually at the airport.
