Countdown to Air Canada’s Dreamliner debut in Ireland

With a month to go, the countdown is on for the introduction of the B787-9 Dreamliner on Air Canada’s Dublin Toronto route. The first Toronto-Dublin leaves Toronto on 29th March with the first Dublin-Toronto scheduled for 30th March in time for the Easter Holiday rush. Featuring 3 cabins, Signature, Premium Economy and Economy class the switch to the Dreamliner is already a hit with advanced sales strong for this great product. Customers love the Dreamliner, whose revolutionary design improves the on-board air quality, which, combined with other features such as Air Canada’s next generation cabin, mood lighting and other amenities, mitigates jet lag. As a result, customers arrive better rested to hit the ground running for either business or pleasure.

Air Canada young foodies

Air Canada is proud to be a family friendly airline with policies like free advanced seating together for families with children, pre boarding for families with kids under 6 years old, on board kids packs and great kids TV entertainment to keep the little ones occupied mid flights and family checkin in our largest Canadian hubs.

We recently decided to revamp our kid’s meal offering but wanted to put the meals to the kids taste test before they were selected to go onboard. Check out the video below and remember on international flights to pre order any kid’s meals free of charge using the CHML code.

All Dublin departures will feature three cabins in 2020

All of Air Canada’s Dublin departures for 2020 Dublin-Toronto, Dublin -Vancouver and Dublin-Montreal will feature 3 cabins, Signature, Premium Economy and Economy Class.

Signature class will feature Executive pod style beds that are fully lie flat pods with all aisle access, premium meal and beverage service, Concierge service, Signature Suite in Toronto Pearson airport and priority airports services. The arrival of the Dreamliner on the Toronto and Montreal routes and the revamping of the A330 aircraft this year on the other Irish Air Canada routes means that the Dublin departures will have a comparable product to departures from the top European cities of London, Frankfurt and Paris.

Artificial Intelligence at Air Canada

2019 was a pivotal year for Air Canada’s goal to become a leader in Artificial Intelligence in the aviation sector.  The airline set up its AI Centre of Excellence and several AI labs across the company, notably in Cargo and Revenue Management. Over the course of the next year, Air Canada will expand its AI capabilities to other areas within the company, such as Crew Planning and Maintenance, with work already underway in those two departments. It’s all part of the company’s goals to increase efficiencies, reach their environmental targets and make working with and flying with Air Canada even easier for their customers.  For more information watch this video:
