A land of contrasts, the island of Sicily consists of coastal plains dotted with secluded coves, with white sandy and pebble beaches. There’s something wonderfully charismatic about Taormina and it is no wonder it is hailed as one of the most beautiful places in Sicily. Exquisite views surround the town which is rich in history. The main shopping area, Corso Umberto, is the go-to place for designer boutiques in this fashionable resort.
