Well never let it be said! Following a long conversation with Joe Schmidt we managed to persuade him to ease off on the all winning Irish Throttle for our opening 6 nations game against England at the Aviva Stadium.

TUI Ireland’s Leila McCabe and Simon Eaton (Head of TUI Ireland) invited trade partners and Travelbiz to an amazing days hospitality in the Horse Show House before heading for the Aviva stadium to take our premium seats for the opening of Ireland's 6 Nation defence against England. Well our conversation with Joe certainly worked!

We really wanted Simon to enjoy his first Aviva Stadium experience and we went in at half time down by 10 – 17. Joe certainly delivered as England never eased off and we finally went down by 32 points to 20. The things we do Simon! Thanks so much for an amazing day’s hospitality and craic and seriously, England were by far the better team on the day. Great Tactics Joe; now we will never be expected to lift the World Cup, Love it. Joining TUI Ireland on the day was Don Shearer (Travelbiz), Ken Masterson (Skytours), Jim Vaughan (JustSplit.com), Lee Osborne (Bookabed), Jeff Collins (Best4Travel), Francis Grogan (Grogan Travel), Yvonne O’Donohoe (O’Donohoe Travel Wexford) and John Spollen (Cassidy Travel and President of the ITAA).
