Lufthansa named best Airline in the ITM Ireland awards 2017
3rd December 2017 - 1:15pm
The awards focus on the ITM objective of promoting travel industry best practices. In making the award the judges said Lufthansa stood out for their commitment to sustainability and exemplary examples of innovation giving the judges a real insight into who they are, their direction and focus.
“This award recognises the continued investment Lufthansa makes in the product offered to our customers”, says Andreas Koester (Senior Director Sales UK, Ireland & Iceland Lufthansa Group). “We believe that to maintain the leading position in our market we must be better than anyone else in terms of innovation and sustainability. That is why Lufthansa continually looks for new and innovative ways to further improve the travel experience for our passengers.”
The award comes just a few weeks after Lufthansa responded to passenger demand by adding a fourth daily flight on the Dublin to Frankfurt service.
The Lufthansa Group is the largest foreign Airline Group in Ireland with multiple daily services from Dublin to Frankfurt and Munich and a weekly service from Shannon to Frankfurt during the summer months. Swiss International Airlines offer daily flights from Dublin to Zurich plus a four times a week service to Geneva and a twice weekly service from Cork to Zurich in the summer months.
