7th June 2017 - 3:20pm
International Pow Wow (IPW) is taking place in the host city of Washington DC and a large contingent of the Irish trade is attending. Declan Mescall Travelbiz Features Editor) is there to bring you all the photos and news. Over the next few days the US Travel Association will extend a “One Big Welcome” to 6,300 buyers, suppliers and media from over 70 countries. This is the 49th annual IPW event and last year nearly 75 million international travellers visited the US. Washington is excited to host this prestigious gathering and is pulling out all the stops to showcase all the city has to offer visitors. Declan flew as a guest of Aer Lingus on their direct flight from Dublin to Dulles International Airport and was delighted to report the excellent on board service mean it was a very enjoyable flight and even arrived one hour ahead of schedule. As they say “Smart flies Aer Lingus”. More on Travelbiz Social media as well as next ezine.
