Etihad - Celebrate 10th Anniversary flying from Dublin
11th July 2017 - 3:15pm
This month, Etihad Airways celebrates the 10th anniversary of Ireland’s first non-stop flights to the Middle East following the launch of Dublin Abu Dhabi service in 2007. More than two million air travellers have since flown the route which Etihad Airways now operates twice daily. The airline was also the first to operate flights from what was then Dublin’s the newly opened Terminal 2 in 2010. Hosting a media lunch (including Travelbiz) in the Constitution Room in the Shelbourne Hotel, Beatrice Cosgrove (Etihad Airways’ General Manager Ireland) said: “We are very proud to celebrate this significant anniversary for the airline in Ireland. Since we first arrived in Dublin in 2007 our goal has been to give the best flight experience to Irish air travellers. We have won several awards in Ireland for the quality of our services during the decade and flown more than two million customers on the Dublin Abu Dhabi route which is testament, I believe, to our determined approach to the Irish market and we look forward to welcoming more air travellers in the future.”
