Atlantic Joint Venture host in Dublin

The Atlantic Joint Venture hosted an evening in Trinity Capital and the trade turned out in great numbers. The group consists of Air Canada, United Airlines and the Lufthansa Group. Lufthansa includes Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and SWISS. This group offers more choice with over 10,000 daily flights to more than 570 destinations and offers an easier way to tailor a unique itinerary for customers, competitive fares, access to an extensive lounge network and frequent flyer programmes.
A Table Quiz offered jet setting prizes with a number of flights up for grabs: 2 Economy class tickets on Air Canada/Rouge Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver (winner - Jason (FCM Travel Solutions); 2 Economy tickets on United Airlines to any United destination in the US (Aisling O'Hara - American Holidays); and 2 Economy tickets on Lufthansa to Munich (Ger - BCD Travel).
United Airlines promoted its Dublin Newark route with new B787 - 10 Dreamliner from 23rd May 2019. New advancements include new and impressive seatback entertainment systems at every seat. The flight offers Business Class (44 seats), Premium Plus (21), Economy Plus (54) and Economy seats (199). Premium Plus provides more leg & elbow room, onboard meal & snacks and pre-arrival dining, amenity kit, Saks Fifth Ave. blanket, noise cancelling headphones, larger entertainment screens and individual power & USB outlets.
Lufthansa advised that it has been certified 5* by Skytrax, making it Europe's first 5* airline. It took the opportunity to promote its new route to Austin, Texas commencing 3 May 2019 and operating 5 times a week. This is its third destination in the lone star state after Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston. Finally, a reminder of Lufthansa's digital investment, flight booking & status, mobile check-in and boarding pass can be managed on smartphone or tablet apps as well as a host of other services for its Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First-Class customers.
Air Canada has a packed Spring/Summer 2019 schedule with Dublin-Toronto flights 5 times a week, increasing to daily from 31st March until 30th October. Flights from Dublin to Montreal (3 x week) as well as Vancouver (4 x week) will commence on 25th May until 15th October. Lastly, Shannon to Toronto will operate from 31st May until 14th Oct.
