An evening with Oman Tourism
12th April 2019 - 2:00pm
Oman Tourism joined with partners Qatar Airways, Chedi Hotel Muscat and Millennium Resort Mussanah to host an information evening and pub quiz in Sam’s Bar, Dawson St, Dublin for the travel trade and media. The Travelbiz flag was flown by Declan Mescall (Features Editor). Oman, located on the Indian Ocean, is often described as the “Jewel of the Arabian Peninsula” and boasts it is the “Real Arabia” due to its history that spans over 7,000 years and its culturally diverse language, people and food. With pristine beaches, magnificent deserts, rugged mountains and its beguiling blend of ancient and modern, not to mention the pleasantly warm climate, Oman has much to offer the Irish holidaymaker.
Qatar Airways fly daily from Dublin to Doha and will increase frequency this summer to 11 flights weekly using the very popular Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Qatar Airways is a member of the One World Alliance and currently flies over 200 aircraft to more than 160 destinations across six continents.
Located in Muscat, the capital of Oman, The Chedi Muscat is a luxury beach resort, only a 15-minute drive from the airport and features a 370-metre private beach, 3 pools, award-winning dining, spa and wellness facilities.
The Millennium Resort is located in Mussanah and is often described as a “destination for all” with facilities which include an exceptional beach, 18 hole mini-golf course, 5 pools, PADI dive centre, marina and a choice of multi-cuisine restaurants and bars.
