TUI - Trade Relations Executive

The role is responsible for supporting the Trade Relations Manager in the distribution requirements of the TUI business in Ireland. You will be working across all sales channels to ensure passenger and margin targets are achieved at the most efficient cost of sale.


What you will be doing

As Trade Relations Executive you will play a key part in the support of achieving sales targets for TUI Beach, TUI Lakes and Mountains and Marella Cruise through all sales channels. This will include administration support for the Trade Relations Manager and Distribution Manager.


Your key responsibilities will include:

Building excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of sales in line with the tour operator and Marella Cruises strategic goals.

Required to work with specific accounts, offering support including weekly trading calls and reporting. Sales visits will be required on an ad hoc basis as well as representation at trade shows and trade events.

Provide regular and detailed market intelligence and competitor feedback to key areas of the business and support any actions from this. You will be required to update the team and key stakeholders on results and deliver in the form of presentations during weekly/monthly team meetings.

Understand the TUI trading position/ KPIs and make recommendations at trading meetings for actions required to improve rate of sale and margins.

Coordinate the implementation and communication of offers, commercial messaging, incentives, launch documents and any promotional activity to key 3rd party agents & Retail stores.

Manage and maintain B2B social media activity via Facebook etc. with in-house retail and 3rd party agents

Responsible for the upkeep and audit management of commercial documentation. This will include completing the relevant paperwork to support the day to day admin involved ensuring all commercial logs are completed and up to date.

You will be responsible for the end to end agent set up process, ensuring all relevant commission and terms are loaded correctly for new agents; as well as the upkeep of commissions and set up for existing agents.

Organise and lead TUI Fam trips to ensure that our product concepts are understood and the cost of the programme is accurately managed.

Design and deliver our product training programme via webinars and face to face visits to ensure that our trade partners and retail colleagues can sell our holidays with confidence

Manage brochure distribution quantities ensuring that supplies are utilised efficiently and are linked to agent productivity


What we are looking for

Minimum 2 years travel trade experience in a commercial role

Excellent negotiation, networking and influencing skills, results oriented

Excellent customer service skillset

Highly driven and a passion for sales results

Commercial acumen

Analytical, numerate and problem solving skills

Planning & organising skills

Retail knowledge – sales /operational

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

PC Literate including PowerPoint and Excel

Flexibility- the role may require some weekends and evenings/overseas travel
