TUI - Marketing Assistant (Dublin)

As Marketing Assistant you will co-ordinate and implement the marketing activities and campaigns for the brands in Ireland both online and offline. This includes supporting the delivery of advertising, promotional, public/media relations, brochure/publication production, content management, ECRM, social media and other digital marketing activities.


This role is based at our TUI UK&I offices in Dublin.


What you will be doing

As Marketing Assistant you will be required to support and assist in the timely production and distribution of all brochure material for the brands in Ireland as well as other marketing promotional materials, including leaflets, point of sale and flyers - this can involve both writing and proofreading copy, and liaison with internal and external designers and printers. On a weekly basis you will liaise with internal teams to set weekly priorities for POS.

Assisting in the co-ordination and implementation of marketing campaigns both online and offline is a key responsibility of this role. This will require liaising with media buyers, creative agencies and other suppliers as necessary and to work within the agreed set budgets and within the associated financial process.

You will be required to assist with proactive and reactive PR/media activity aimed at promoting the company and its products. This includes creating weekly media newsletters, administrating press trips and carrying out campaigns and activity with the external PR agencies.

Supporting the delivery and execution of the digital marketing strategy will form an important part of the role of Marketing Assistant. To do this you will assist in the creation of weekly ECRM campaigns through HTML and Dreamweaver; liaise with the Ecommerce team; manage, maintenance and monitor key social media platforms from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn to blogs. Ensure all sites are up to date with communications and latest offers while proactively engaging customers through social media campaigns. Additionally you will assist in the reporting, measuring and evaluating of campaign performance results and produce monthly KPI reports.


What we are looking for

Proven experience of working in a marketing role within a commercial organisation

Educated third level qualification in a Marketing related discipline (Preference is diploma or degree level in Marketing. Ideally general marketing)

Proven ability to undertake duties as listed above

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

A creative and enthusiastic team player

A team player with the ability to work on own initiative

Ability to build strong relationships both internal and external

Must be able to work in a fast paced changing environment with competing deadlines

Excellent planning, organisation and administration skills with excellent attention to detail

Ability to prioritise workload and to meet demanding deadlines

Excellent MS Office skills with related digital marketing tools such as Dreamweaver, HTML,CSS a distinct advantage

Strong analytical ability
