In 2018, 61% of large enterprises in Ireland had e-Commerce sales which accounted for 42% of total sales of such enterprises. In addition, 34% of Irish enterprises reported to have paid to advertise on the internet in 2018, such as on search engines, social media and other websites.

Our speakers

Conor O’Kane – Head of Technology at Travelport Hospitality & Digital

Conor is the VP of Technology in charge of the Customer Experience portfolio within Travelport Technology.  This includes all Mobile, Corporate and Point of Sales solutions.  Conor has 20 years of experience in product development in the Finance, Telecommunications and Travel industries.  Having originally Mobile Travel Technologies in 2012 as the Chief Operating Officer, Conor transferred into Travelport as part of the 2015 acquisition.

Amanda Webb – Digital Marketing Consultant, Spiderworking.com

Amanda Webb is a serial content creator. She is happiest when blogging, vlogging and podcasting. In 2017 Amanda was named one of Social Media Examiners top 10 Social Media bloggers. Amanda loves working with small businesses to help them build content strategies that work.

Amanda came to Ireland in 2005 to pursue a career in the Irish film business and worked as an Assistant Director on productions, including Adam & Paul and Angela’s Ashes – an experience which started her on the road to vlogging. Before working exclusively in digital marketing, Amanda ran a small corporate gift company ‘Feelgood Organic Hampers’. In 2012 she talked two friends into starting Blog Awards Ireland and headed up the online marketing and project management of the event until 2015. As well as running Spiderworking she isthe lead social media trainer with the Fitzwilliam Institute and delivers the social media modules for them on their event management courses, public relations courses and their digital marketing courses.

Glenville Morris – Product Director, Digital Insights Travelport Digital

Glenville has over 13 years’ experience as a mobile professional in the travel, entertainment and retail sectors. Before joining Travelport Digital, Glenville worked across analytics, SEO and mobile at easyJet, primarily as a product owner for their apps and mobile site. At Travelport Digital, Glenville heads up the Digital Insights team where he looks at market trends, operating system updates and how new technologies will affect the travel industry and our customers now and in the future.
